Standing Committees

Annual Library Data Survey (ALDS)

A standing committee which reviews and updates both the survey and the results from the Annual Library Data Survey (ALDS). The ALDS is sent by the Chancellor's Office each fall, in compliance with California Code of Regulations §55800, in order to collect data on the expenditure and services of all college libraries. CCL took over the survey in 2024, when a workgroup was established to review and update the survey, and launched the first ALDS survey that same year.

Electronic Access and Resources (CCL-EAR)

A standing committee of CCL, CCL-EAR is charged to explore ways in which the resources of the community college libraries could be maximized through cooperative ventures for electronic resources, databases and information.
